{Pot Roast in the Crockpot}

This is an easy recipe to prepare, because you just add a few
ingredients to your crockpot in the morning
and you'll have a delicious meal
at dinner time.

Ingredients:
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1-1/4 cups water
5-1/2 pounds pot roast**

Directions:
Mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and water together
and place into a crockpot.
Place pot roast in crockpot and coat the top of the roast
with a little of the soup mixture.
Cook on High setting for 3-4 hours, or on Low setting for 8-9 hours.

** I used a 2-1/2 pound roast, so I only used 1 can of soup,
BUT I used the whole package of dried onion soup and 1-1/4 cup water
and it was fantastic.
If you want to make gravy, just stir 2 tablespoons of corn starch
into 1/4 cup cold water
and stir this into the liquid in the crockpot.
YUMMY!
